- • Use any MacPaint or a file saved in a PICT format (from a drawing program like MacDraw, MacDraft, or Cricket Draw).
- • If scanning an image, you need to save the scanned image in one of these formats to use it as a template.
- • Also, if scanning, scan the image as large as practical. You get more detail this way, which makes it easier to trace in Illustrator.
